Spring Fishing!

As the water temperature quickly begins to rise into the 60's and 70's

during April, May and June many species of fish begin to migrate up

our coast into Hilton Head Islands sounds and estuaries. A few of my

favorites are Cobia, Bull Redfish, Spanish Mackerel ,Bluefish. and

Let's talk about Spring Sight Fishing

First of all nothing beats seeing the fish you are getting ready to catch!

During the Spring months our local Redfish really start to feed in our

marsh grass flats at high tide and are spotted tailing with their head

down and tail above the water which makes for awesome sight fishing

using spinning or fly gear. Cobia and Tripletail also can be spotted up

on the surface in our sounds cruising and sunning themselves and

are a blast to catch on spin or fly as well!

This is definitely one of my favorite times of the year  with perfect

weather and lots of new species coming each and every week!
